Quick DIY: Gift Tags Bookmarks

This Christmas I wanted to create some gift tags that could be used throughout the year instead of being “beautiful, but forgotten”, so, on the 24th of December I came up with these idea of gift tags – bookmarks. Since they were a last minute project, they’re pretty quick to make:)

Questo Natale ho voluto creare dei biglietti che potessero essere usati tutto l’anno, anziché essere “carino, ma dimenticato”. Così, il 24 dicembre, ho avuto questa idea di biglietti – segnalibro. Dato che erano un progetto dell’ultimo minuto, sono velocissimi da fare:)

Supplies:

• Poster board
• glue
• scissors
• magazine pages
• ribbon (or paper thread, raffia,…)
• hole punch (if you don’t have it, use the point of the scissors)
• pen
• pencil and ruler

Occorrente: cartoncino; colla stick; forbici; pagine di riviste o cataloghi; nastrino (o filo di carta, rafia,…); macchinetta per forare i fogli (se non l’avete potete semplicemente usare la punta delle forbici); penna; matita e righello.

How to Make It / Realizzazione:

1. Cut a 10 x 7 cm rectangle from the poster paper. With the hole punch or the point of the scissors punch the bottom of the rectangle (picture 1).

Tagliate un rettangolo di cartoncino di 10 x 7 cm. Con la macchinetta apposita o la punta delle forbici fate un foro alla base del rettangolo (figura 1).

 

 

 

 

2. Cut a heart /star / tree / flower,… from the magazine pages.

Ritagliate dalle pagine di riviste la forma che preferite (cuore, stella, albero, fiore,…).

 

 

 

3. Paste the heart / star / flower,… on the poster paper and thread the ribbon through the hole. Write your message on the back of the gift tag – bookmark (picture 3).

Incollate il disegno ritagliato sul cartoncino e fate passare il nastrino nel foro. Scrivete il messaggio che più preferite sul retro del biglietto – segnalibro (figura 3). 

 

 

 

 

I made a musical version of these gift tags – bookmarks for my brother: instead of using magazine pages, I printed a music sheet and cut some “big notes” from it.

Per mio fratello ho realizzato la variante musicale di questi biglietti – segnalibri: anziché usare le pagine di riviste ho stampato su un foglio A4 uno spartito. Ho poi ricavato dal foglio delle “grandi note” che ho incollato sul cartoncino.
